I also enjoyed DC's other performances. In Rickey's blog, he posts about DC's last song, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing: OMG -- Are they testing out the waters for a CORONATION SONG? *gasp*".

So, who do you think will get cut tonight? Did the Cookies, Arch-angels, and Faneshas vote enough for their faves?

Do you feel great after ruining someone's day?
Do you get pleasure from irking people?
Do you find it satisfying when you cause other people pain?
Do you like making other people feel worthless?
Do you love making a big deal of other people's mistakes?

If you answered yes to any of the previous questions, you probably have a very sad life. Bullying other people will not make you feel better about yourself. It does not make you better than other people.

If you have ever experienced being bullied before, you must understand that there are several reasons why some people are bullies. In rare cases, bullies do not realize that they are hurting other people. Whatever their reasons are, there are many ways in dealing with them.

Before presuming that someone is intentionally trying to make you feel bad, ask yourself a few things.

Are you just having a bad day? Most of the time, people are easily irritated when things don't go their way.

Is that person just trying to gain your attention? It may not be a good way to do it but that person probably does not know any other way to get noticed.

Is there a reason for that person to be jealous of you? Do they belittle you to maybe make themselves feel better (about themselves)?

Have you unintentionally insulted another person and they may be reacting to that?

Is that person treating you harshly with the intent of helping you in the long run? That person might be trying to teach you a lesson as well. S/He might have been trying to help you and you have not been listening.

Does that person have other personal/professional problems? This person may have other issues that are making him/her frustrated. Stress can be a major cause as well. Unfortunately, that's not an excuse to take it out on other people.

What can you do? Here are a few suggestions:

Present the situation to other (unbiased) people and get their opinion.

Directly or indirectly (through a letter) confront that person. Understand, however, that you need to be cautious when taking this route. It depends on who you are confronting. Confronting a close friend/relative is not the same as confronting a person you do not know very well. Consider having someone else come with you during a confrontation. An impartial mediator will be beneficial. And, lastly, stay calm during confrontations. Do not demand an apology. Instead, calmly explain how this person hurt you and ask them why they are doing it. If the person refuses to answer, give them time to come to you. If the person starts getting violent and starts harassing you, contact legal authorities.

You can also avoid contact with that person if the irrational behavior continues.

If it is at work, make sure you inform your immediate manager of the situation (if it's not the manager that's bullying you). You can also directly contact your company's Human Resources department.

Once the situation has been resolved, move on. Revenge is not an option.

Fans of Jesse Blaze Snider have been ranting that Jesse was the only one who truly 'rocked' the house. FYI: Rock has many aspects to it. It doesn't just refer to punk or hair-band rock or a specific type of outfit. I read through threads of comments and some were really ticked off. Funny.

Crosby Loggins really deserves to win. Sure, Jesse Snider may have also deserved to win but America voted and they didn't vote enough for him.

It's sixteen before midnight and I can't sleep. The truth is, I'm a bit shaken about something I saw today. I need a happy thought.

Shifting through the television channels isn't helping. So, I'm settling for a feel good family show on TLC. Five minutes into the show, I'm still thinking about it. It's been a while since I've felt this nauseous. I am scarred for life.

Have you ever watched anything so disturbing that it just left you weak? Then, you wonder, why did they do that? Are people that hopeless? Faithless? Sure, not everyone believes on the same thing, but there should be some common ground. For example, humanity and being able to make decisions based on right and wrong. But because we are--after all--human, we have weaknesses that sometimes cloud our ability to make good decisions. Weaknesses such as fear, greed, sloth, anger, self-absorption, envy, mental instability, and pride can entrap us and make us vindicate with our (in)decision.

If you find yourself making rash decisions, consider thinking about it at least twice before acting impulsively. In some cases, you may need to make a decision right away. I find it most helpful to remind myself to constantly be wary of consequences--who it'll affect and how. In the end, you may find yourself working at your best under pressure.

Now that's out of the way, I will try to get some sleep. G'nite. This will get published the next day (from post date).

This post is a day shy of a month overdue. Several things have happened in between that day we went up the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge and today's entry. I wanted to prepare the images more but I got lazy but I decided to post anyway before I get even more indolent.

That was an experience of a lifetime. Thanks to Mo, Kevin, and JB.

Our adventure began when we stopped by the GG office in San Rafael to pickup Kevin. Then, we proceeded to the Sergeant's office by the toll plaza. While we waited for Mo, we 'submitted' our IDs and got our hard hats.

We rode the Bridge Patrol (No. 36, but it displayed 130 on the car) all the way to the door of the south tower. It took a while for the patrol car to start and Kevin couldn't get it to run on reverse, so, Mo had to push the vehicle while the four of us (Kevin, JB, Hoho, and me) were inside.

On the way to the tower, JB kept waving and yelling to the folks walking, "ask us where we're going?!?!". But I think the tourists thought we were criminals. We were sitting in the back of a patrol car.

When we reached the foot of the tower, Kevin maneuvered the vehicle so it can be parked on the side, making sure that it didn't block the walkway. As soon as Mo opened the tower door, she asked who wanted to go first. I immediately volunteered. Overly anxious, Kevin, Mo, and myself stepped inside what looked more like a dumb waiter than an elevator. We squished ourselves inside the 2ft. x 2ft. lift and headed to the topmost landing. The ride took about four minutes. Thank goodness, I am not claustrophobic (and I wasn't in the lift with someone who has claustrophobia). When we reached the landing, Mo left me and Kevin while she went back down to pick up JB & Hoho.

We were chatting about the bridge, Filipino food, and the two ladders we needed to climb when my mobile rang!!! Fantastic reception up there! It was April! I told her we were, literally, inside the tower.

After ten minutes of waiting, the guys and Mo arrived. I giggled quite loudly when Mo told the guys about the ladder. Someone with us is afraid of heights. He he. So, we climbed the first 20-foot ladder which took us on top a short platform. The second ladder led us to a tiny opening onto the very top of the tower.

As soon as I stepped out, I kept turning and turning in amazement. It took about five minutes before it finally registered that we were really there. Indeed, it felt like it was a dream. It was so surreal. The view was absolutely magnificent. Breath-taking, to be exact.

Do not close the door--Mo & Kevin mentioned (several times) when we were outside. There is no key and the door automatically locked when shut. We would be stuck there until someone else would come up and get us.

Most shutterbugs would probably feel trigger-happy if they were there. I wasn't. Well, maybe a little. But I felt more just wanting to sit there and breathe. Absorb everything for a moment. It felt so serene up there. It was so peaceful. Mind, body, and soul felt as one. I felt extremely minuscule and attached to life, more than ever. The splendorous beauty that surrounded us made me utterly appreciative and content. My only wish then was to have that feeling stay with me forever. But alas, like most journeys, it had to end.

It happens, often, at the same moment. GTL on one hand, about to take a sip, and then I browse through my dailies/headliners. This time, I was lucky enough to have a paper towel sitting nearby. Here's what I found on Rickey's site:

Oh dear Rickey. Love it. Love it. Love it. I may have spilled some boiling hot tea on me but I definitely love it! You just made my day!

On his page, Rickey talks about being able to recruit 300 members to join the Faneshas. Syesha's overdue(?) fan club. Read more here.

Kidding aside, who would've thought that Syesha had taken over the title of Nine Lives this season? She had been in the bottom two almost every week since the top 12. Amazing survival skills. I think I'll be cheering for her next week. Most of my favorites (Michael Johns & Brooke White), except for David Cook, have been eliminated. So, what the heck -- She deserves it. I'll be rooting for David Cook, David Archuleta, and Syesha Mercado. Three-way tie! Woohoo!

Dancing with the Stars
Last night, the couples performed two dances. I was switching between channels because I didn't want to miss House as well. I have to say that I was most impressed with Cristian Dela Fuente. I found out at the end of the show that he also scored the highest. Yes -- I skipped through the scores and waited till the end.

Anyway, the past few weeks got me thinking about how the show is supposed to be celebrity-centered. However, when a celebrity is stuck with a very unlikeable professional dancer, they end up getting less votes than they deserve. For example, Mario. I think he has really great potential. Unfortunately, his dance partner comes off as being very conceited, whiny, and over-confident. I think she's a great dancer. It's possible that the producers are trying to portray her that way to add spice/controversy to the show. I don't think it's helping.

If you missed last night's show, you can watch full episodes here:

Tonight's theme is songs from the Rock & Roll hall of fame. Here're some spoilers (from MJ) for tonight's show:

Jason Castro - "I Shot the Sherrif" by Bob Marley/Eric Clapton & "Mr. Tambourine Man" By Bob Dylan/Byrds.

Wow. Chloe Lattanzi is still in the competition. And this week, she sang a Britney Spears song. Poor thing.

I think Jesse Snider is great but he is just too cocky. Crosby Loggins, on the otherhand, (1) seems genuine, (2) a true musician, (3) sings really well (if not as good as his dad), and (4) writes his own songs.
