Description from dictionary.com:
1. weariness from bodily or mental exertion.
2. a cause of weariness; slow ordeal; exertion: the fatigue of driving for many hours.

This week (and past month, or so) has been extremely exhausting. Mentally, more than physically. I've been focusing on my day job, as required. One more week, and my work schedule will be back to normal.

I love Fridays. To me, Fridays remind me that I can oversleep the next day. Or at least, sleep a minimum of nine hours. But today, Friday felt more like a Monday. I've been getting calls, email, and instant messages left and right. I need a break. Badly.

Sure, I may thrive under pressure...most of the time. But when that pressure is multiplied several times, I tend to drift. Like right now. I've been getting dizzy spells all morning (no, not pregnant) and almost dozed off, so I thought I'd take a walk and get some caffeine. I decided to go upstairs to avoid the meeting I was supposed to go to. On my way upstairs, I ran into and thought about interesting characters...

Clasping Claudia
A female suit was holding the left side of the hand-rail while her legs were a bit shaking. Let's call her Clasping Claudia. Clasping Claudia decides to move to the other side of the stairs. One hand on the left-rail, while reaching out to the other side of the stairs (about 10 feet apart). She gave a nervous laugh when she saw me walking up the stairs. I thought that maybe she had a sprained ankle. She continued going down the stairs while tightly holding the railings. As she reached the end of the stairs, she started to walk normally. Acrophobia, maybe?

Foisting Fiera
Fiera, fond of foisting tasks onto friendly fellows. What else can I say? When you offer to help, she'll get you to do more than what you offer. Are up for the task?

Ad-libing Aden
In every workplace, you will find average workers and people who are really good. Sometimes, you come across people who seem to be just winging it. And, most of them, are really good at it. I've encountered several individuals of this type. I don't really do anything to expose them. Some of them, eventually learn how to do things (the right way). Those who are left ad-libing are interesting to listen to and watch...especially when they pretend to know something they really don't.

Micturating Monster
Last, but the not least. Definitely, the worst. There is an idiot who uses the common bathroom and does not flush after s/he uses it. I hope the toilet *accidentally* overflows right before s/he tries to use it.

Each day, we travel through a hallway filled with light and darkness. The path sometimes leads us to a new adventure. This is where I keep my thoughts and memories.
