Good friends are hard to find. Our busy lives sometimes make it difficult to stay in touch with old friends. But when you get a chance to catch up, you either end up (1) having a wonderful time knowing more about the current things going on in each other's lives or (2) severing ties forever. I have lost friends by death, and some by choice. One thing I learned is to keep valued friendships in constant repair.
