What Now?

The finals are up next week. You may have already made a choice. Is it David Archuleta or David Cook? Who will be this year's American Idol?

Vote now!

Update: "The Wednesday results show will be cut from an hour to 30 minutes."

Finally! The one-hour result shows this season have been unavailingly boring. America wants their results right away. I usually wait for the last 15 minutes of the show before I completely tune in. In between, I just switch channels.

I guess with the steady slip in ratings this season, Fox has finally decided to cut the show to thirty minutes. Wasn't it that way in previous seasons? Besides, the results can easily be delivered in less than five minutes. Why waste time watching them torture the contestants? The guest performances have not been that entertaining as well.

Additional show adjustments will also be made this January (based on the news). The only thing not changing are the judges. So expect to see Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson next season.

On a side note, I read somewhere that Taylor Hicks will be starring in the Broadway hit show Grease. I can't find the article that I read but I'm sure if you'll search for it online, you'll find it.
