« To Lock or Not To Lock |Main| American Idol 7: David Cook Wins! »

Last night, millions of viewers tuned in to the season 7 finale of American Idol. The David versus David finale might have left the viewers and fans divided, but according to Simon Cowell, it was a knock out for David Archuleta. Ninety-five percent of the time, I agree with Cowell. However, this time, I think he is wrong. If it's song choice, I still think that both Davids made the right song choices.

Here's a recap:

Clive Davis Song Choices

  • David Cook - "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2
  • David Archuleta - "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" by Elton John

Songwriters Contest Choices/Winners

  • David Cook - "Dream Big"
  • David Archuleta - "In This Moment"

Personal Choices

  • David Cook - "The World I Know" by Collective Soul
  • David Archuleta - "Imagine" by John Lennon

Now that the voting for the actual contest is done, all we can do is wait.
