Overall, it was just an OKAY night. I am still waiting for that "Umpf!" moment. The perfect dance. Might be too early. Getting impatient. Summary...
- Marlee Matlin continues to amaze us despite the few timing misses in the jive.
- Steve Guttenberg enjoyed his training with Jonathan Roberts.
- Cristian Dela Fuente did a better job tonight. I just can't help notice the slight disconnect between his upper & lower body. And -- did you notice how hyper Cheryl Burke was? Ok, they performed the jive, however, I was referring to her shaking & jumping after the performance.
- Super Mario was not so super with their sloppy tango.
- Shannon Elizabeth did a great job with her jive. Slightly off-topic -- Derek Hough appears to be clingy.
- Adam Carolla, surprisingly, looked like he was a (tango) dancer last night. During the after-dance interview, AC makes risque jokes about tango being a dance about Argentinean prostitutes & talks about his grandfather saying that if he wants to learn more about tango, he should ask a Mormon. (Uh-oh...some people aren't going to be too happy with you Mr. Carolla)
- I think Marissa Jaret Winokur will be leaving us tonight. The overly-perky personality isn't that cute anymore.
- Priscilla Presley & Louis Van Amstel danced a dramatic tango. Liked it. I just kept staring at PP's face wondering if her facial expression would change.
- Jason Taylor's shirt was wet, in the underarm area. I had such high-hopes for JT. LOL.
- Kristi Yamaguchi did a technically superb tango. A bit emotionless though. Still, she rated the highest last night.
