This week's theme is Andrew Lloyd Webber songs.
- Syesha Mercado - One Rock & Roll Too Many from Starlight Express - I thought that the song choice was obscure but she performed really well. I agreed with the judges when they said that this was more her genre.
- Jason Castro - Memory from Cats - Admittedly, that was quite painful.
- Brooke White - You Must Love Me from Evita - This one is tricky - as Simon Cowell said. I don't think the emotions were as honest as Ms. Abdul said they were. She restarted again! Is this going to be a trend in her future performances as an artist? The song is dramatic...but the emotion she conveyed during her performance appeared too contrived. I still love her voice, just not loving the drama.
- David Archuleta - Think of Me from Phantom of the Opera - When I thought I was beginning to like his performances...hmmm. I don't like Arias being downplayed to contemporary songs that have a "step hop, step hop" feel to them. I did not like this one.
- Carly Smithson - Jesus Christ Superstar from Jesus Christ Superstar - Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber did her a favor when he had her change songs. I liked it.
- David Cook - Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera - David Cook + one of favorite ALW songs = Brilliant. I loved it. DC for the win!

I think it's a choice between JC & BW tonight.
