What Now?

« Happy Friday |Main| Nightmares & Inspiration »

This has been a very busy week. I've got tons of stories but so little time. So I chose three, and summarized them for you...

Secrets
Today, we had a potluck here in the office and everyone took part in a game we call Secrets. We wrote down one secret about ourselves in a piece of paper, folded it and placed it in a basket. Everyone picked one secret and read it out loud. Then, we all guessed who that secret belonged to. Here's what I learned:

  • One person saved a drowning man
  • One person visited Buddha's birthplace
  • Someone rubbed elbows with Imran Khan during a (boring?) cricket game
  • Someone married their first subject-matter-expert
  • One person wanted to be a policeman (hint: Sgt. Pecherskyy)
  • Someone got their first speeding ticket this Easter
  • Two tattoos
  • One person is afraid of wax figures & mannequins
  • Someone used to be a man

Here's what I brought to lunch:

Yes. "Brazos De Mercedes".

Melon Syrup
Ever since I switched from coffee to green tea lattes I've been dying to get me a bottle of Melon Syrup. But, I didn't want to pay $10.95+Tax for a one liter bottle especially when Torani syrups cost around $4.00 a bottle. Anyhoo, the local SB drive-thru was selling it for $6.95 tax inclusive. So I got one!
