AI Top 10 Performances

Now that we have our top 10, I have to admit that my favorites have changed. They may still change but, overall, my favorite contestant is still Michael Johns. Most people vote for the win. I, on the other hand, hope that MJ doesn't win first so he can get a better contract. Reason being that not all AI winners have come out very successful -- except for Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood. Unfortunately. I'm not sure either if AI would give him songs that are suited to him.

From tonight's performances my favorites are:

  • Syesha Mercado - after being in the bottom three, Syesha has definitely been stepping up her game
  • Michael Johns - he's back!
  • Carly Smithson - I loved it except for the ending
  • David Cook - in some strange way, I liked it. I hope he didn't copy that from anyone!!!

Personally, I think Kristy Lee Cook should be voted off. But singing a patriotic song on the show might have saved her. She didn't necessarily do a great job. But she will probably be back next week.

If you haven't already, don't forget to vote...

Second round of performances had the pairs dance the mambo/quickstep. My two faves are Jason Taylor & Kristi Yamaguchi. Videos below courtesy of rickey.org.
