To be honest, with pinoys like this representing us, I don't know what to say. I am proud of my heritage, yes. But, is this really the best that we can do? She is gorgeous. She did win two of the major awards that night. However, I don't think that beauty should outrank brains in pageants where you are expected to represent the country.
I'm allergic to all kinds of tree pollen, except Mountain Cedar. Friday, at the office, folks were moving in the new neighbors so there was dust everywhere. Saturday, we were set to go on a picnic and short hike at Big Sur.
But, of course, I wouldn't want to have missed our Saturday trip so I went anyway. I dosed up with my anti-allergy medications, and the day went really well. Unfortunately, yesterday, I had the sudden urge to clean the oven with one of those 15 minute spray formulas that stunk up the whole house.
Today, I stayed home to rest. Good thing I did...
