Plot outline: Upon moving into the run-down Spiderwick Estate with their mother, twin brothers Jared and Simon Grace, along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of faeries and other creatures.
Who knew? All can be known with the lens of stone. The Spiderwick Chronicles is a fantasy adventure for the child in all of us. Well, maybe kids of a certain age. The ones who don't easily get scared.
Hogsqueal! I've been trying to figure out who did the voice of Hogsqueal. Ha! I looked it up in IMDB. That's why he sounded familiar. It was Seth Rogen!
Jumper
Plot outline: A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.
What I presume to be the movie's underlying message is slightly different to that of the more common superhero comics/films. If indeed these powers existed & you had them...Would you really use them for the greater good? Would you use it for your sole benefit? Surely, villains will exist. There are always consequences.
