Ralph Nader, announced Sunday, his fourth consecutive White House bid (fifth including his 1992 write-in campaign). He has been referred to as 'a nuisance candidate' and 'the one responsible for George W. Bush.'
Watch "The Nader Effect" on CNN here.
"We have to give the system more competition, more voices, more choices, more freedom, more diversity," Nader said to defend his candidacy.
I understand the need for more voices, more choices, more freedom, and more diversity. But when you already have a set of candidates battling head-to-head because the public already knows, understands, & agrees with their platforms, don't you think that will just add more damage than good? Does Nader really know of or understand the current candidates' stand on the issues he (Nader) has presented & claimed were not addressed in their campaigns? Do you really think he will only affect the Democratic vote? Not all Independents will vote for a Democratic candidate.
With four consecutive losses, does Nader really think that he will win this time? If he knows he's not going to win, what does he think he will gain from all this? Is this the only way he can promote his 'ideas'? Does Nader really believe the twelve issues he presents on his website: http://www.votenader.org/issues/

My favorite is Impeach Bush/Cheney. Hahaha. Does he know that's what the new election will eventually do -- elect a new President & Vice President?!?!
