Do you know Brian Williams? I'm not talking about the Jaguars' Cornerback. I'm referring to NBC's Brian Williams.

A few minutes ago, I declared it EOB and turned on the telly. On air was NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams. With his signature clean-cut look (Pierce Brosnan-typish) and distinct voice, he is one of the most memorable faces on the news. He is also a very accomplished journalist.

But to me, Brian Williams is 'that anchorman who hosted Saturday Night Live'.

The episode first aired in November 2007. I've watched reruns a few times and I still find it funny. He starts his monologue with "each one of us, myself included, is thinking: Is this really a good idea? Should I be hosting this show?". His answer? Yes. "I know I'm often seen as a stiff," he continued, "a guy who's always in anchorman mode. But tonight would be different..." The camera suddenly shifts on a news angle and displays a slide where he went on reciting bullet points, "I promise to Relax. Have fun. Be spontaneous. Stay loose."

And he definitely does that all throughout the show.
