It's A Material World

I woke up feeling like it was the end of the world today. I dreamt that someone had stolen my camera. I know that it's only material, but it means a lot to me.

The other day, I was reading through the daily horoscopes and this is what mine said: Is money your inspiration? Stop and find a new inspiration.

In this day and age where material possessions are not only considered as a social status but as a personal satisfaction meter, is it really that bad to admit that money motivates/inspires you? Is it wrong to want more money, especially when you just want to be able to provide for your family?

Money can inspire us in several different ways.

Here's my message...well, it's actually more of a question...

Happy Leap Day!

Today, February 29, is Leap Day (also known as bissextile day). Leap years contain one (or more) extra days in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year.

The leaplings are coming! What happens to babies born on February 29? Nothing. Same as any other child born on a non-leap day. Teehee. Their birthdays, however, are celebrated on the accepted legal day in your country.

Famous leaplings include Antonio Sabato Jr., Johnny Delgado, and Dennis Farina. Read more on events that happened on leap day here.

Happy Friday!
