There has been much ado about the last book in the Harry Potter series. A few days ago, news started surfacing about a possible book leak. Actually, possible book leaks, not just one. Weeks back, one extremely bored fan decided to write his/her version of the book and posted it on the net (slashfilm). Of course I downloaded it and started reading the first couple of pages which really sounded more like a cheesy b-story.
Yesterday, I decided to look for the rumored PDF containing the photographed pages of the book.
Despite JK Rowling's message on her website:
We are almost there! As launch night looms, let's all, please, ignore the misinformation popping up on the web and in the press on the plot of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I'd like to ask everyone who calls themselves a Potter fan to help preserve the secrecy of the plot for all those who are looking forward to reading the book at the same time on publication day. In a very short time you will know EVERYTHING!
Anxious fans decided to post and seed copies of the file. I did not get to view the file until this morning. I was expecting a fake and was really surprised with what I saw. Will I read it before the actual launch? No. I'm not that crazy.
