Although that line has not been addressed to me...yet, I have heard one person use that line at every review meeting. Have you met anyone who likes to exaggerate other people's minor blunders? Ah, you are not alone. I think it's a way for that person to feel important...feel that he or she is needed. It's quite comical, at the same time pitiful, to watch.
