What Now?

Tonight, the men tackled the Quickstep, while the women took on the Mambo.

The Quickstep is a light, twinkling, and "perky" dance with 'springy'-fast footwork. The basic feel should be "slow, quick, quick, slow, quick, quick". It may appear similar to a Foxtrot - but the techniques and routines are different. Dance patterns include hops, runs, and quick steps with a lot of momentum and rotation.

The Mambo is a Cuban dance named after a Voodoo princess. Originally, there were two forms of Mambo: single and triple (sometimes called double mambo). The single Mambo is now referred to as the modern Mambo. The Mambo consists of forward and backward basic steps peformed with the "Cuban hip motion" -- a weight change while slightly bending the knee resulting in the hip motion typical for the Salsa. However, when dancing the Mambo, this move should appear emphasized and fast.

Going back to the show, I think I've decided on a favorite. Teehee!

First one to score 10s from the judges!

On a sidenote, I couldn't stop noticing about the dancers and celebrities fake tans, and VF's plastic surgery scars.

Anyway, tomorrow night's guest is Juli Iglesias. Who do you think will be the second to go?

My guess is...it's not Jerry Springer. Hey, I could be wrong!
