I've often compared my job to selling cars. There are so many similarities.
This morning, while driving in traffic, I saw some of the rudest drivers in the bay area. I would usually think that if someone drives a luxury car, s/he would be more careful of it because of its value. Unfortunately, that's not always true.
When someone tries to sell a car, s/he tells you all its features, including its price. When the customer buys the car, s/he can do what s/he wants with it (for as long as it's legal). Now, when a person buys a car, one would expect that that person knows how to drive and understands that s/he must follow driving rules. Again, unfortunately, that's not always true. I sometimes wonder how these people passed their driving exams. The roads become more unsafe everyday because of reckless drivers.
Are you a safe driver? Driving is a privilege and a responsibility. A driver must obey the traffic laws and must be prepared to react to other drivers and driving conditions. These days, being prepared to react to stupid drivers is of high importance.
