Finally posted photos from our Manila trip. The photos can be temporarily viewed by everyone:

I'm also posting a few thumbnail photos here. Some photos may appear cropped -- you can view the whole photo in the gallery.

We arrived back here on November 6, 2005. Besides the major jetlag, colds, and cough that lasted a week, we were -- still are -- feeling homesick.

It's been six years since we've been home. It's also been six years since I've seen my Paps. The three weeks that we spent in Manila felt short but sweet.

We arrived at around 4:34am. At the airport, we were met by Tita Lou, Vernice, Nana, Iago, and Bong (a.k.a. "The Accomplices").

We arrived at home around 5:15am. Toto opened the gates for us. Then, we slowly snuck in my parents room. SURPRISE!!! Heeheeheehee...

I know, I know. That was partly mean because we woke them up early in the morning. I just couldn't wait!!! Everything was captured on video too...which reminds me -- I still need to transfer the video cam contents and combine them with the other videos.

We had lunch at Genghis Khan (Mongolian!). Mikee has been craving good mongolian for the longest time. We pretty much spent all morning and after lunch chatting and opening presents.

We left the house around 3:00pm to head over Mike's house. Of course, it was also a surprise!!! Actually, a funnier one. The plan was that Mavic would get everyone to agree on having dinner since it was her 30th birthday (the day before we arrived). She invited everyone to join her for dinner (the day we're arriving) about a week and a half before we arrived. We were all surpised that almost everyone was reluctant to be there. They all had excuses!!! They also thought that Mavic was getting married...so that might be it. Anyhow, good thing we arrived early. We went to Gerry's Grill for dinner.

The next weeks went very fast. We had so much fun. We are also so glad that we got to see our family. And, guess what?!?!?! I got to celebrate my birthday there too!!!

Other than get-togethers, we had the luxury of having a massage almost every other day! Even Nana came with us!

Oh!!! Btw, I had to take a photo of this poster. It just cracks me up everytime I look at it. You can find this poster in Mexicali-Glorietta/Greenbelt.

Other than that...on our last night in Manila...I took a few photos at Cena, teehee...

Hopefully, we get to visit again next year. Besides, we have more planning to do...
