Chapter Nineteen: Elf Tails
Synopsis
Harry, Hermione, Ginny, and the Weasley twins visit Ron in the hospital wing. They also try to figure out the reasons behind the incident and realize that:
- There's a connection between the two attacks (Katie Bell's and Ron's).
- The attacks were supposed to be fatal.
- Neither attacks reached the intended target.
They find out from Hagrid that he overheard Dumbledore arguing with Snape. AD was asking Snape to make investigations in his house. With this, Harry wonders if Dumbledore doesn't really trust Snape as much as he pretends to. Harry becomes more suspicious of Malfoy.
McLaggen fills in as Gryffindor Keeper but caused the team to lose by distracting everyone and telling them what to do. Harry had to keep reminding him that he is not the team's Captain. Harry ended up at the hospital wing as well.
At the hospital wing, Harry decides to order Kreacher to tail Malfoy. Dobby offers to help as well.
Possibilities:
1. Dumbledore knows about Draco. Snape doesn't exactly know what Draco's plan is. Snape wants to get out of the Unbreakable Vow but AD tells him he can't. So he needs to figure out what needs to be done.
2. Dumbledore doesn't trust Snape.
Thinking of Snape as a Death Eater reminds me of when Neville's boggart turned into Snape dressed as his grandmother.
