It's my first time to make blondies and they turned out pretty well.
If you want an alternative to chocolate brownies, these butterscotch brownies are easy to make...and they taste delish! Here's the recipe:
Butterscotch Brownies
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Brown sugar
1 large Egg
1+1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Flour, sifted
1 teaspoon Baking powder, sifted
optional: 1 cup chopped nuts
Procedure:
Melt the butter over low heat.
Add the brown sugar and stir well to dissolve.
Add the chopped nuts.
Let cool for a few minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease square 8x8 pan/pyrex.
Stir in the egg and vanilla.
Add the flour and baking powder. Mix well.
Pour into a greased pan/pyrex.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let cool for 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
